Max Yoffe
Founder / Principal
Max is an award-winning producer/director with over 20 years in the industry, and the founder of Big Door. His clients include every major network and many Fortune 500 companies. He started his career working for the CBS affiliate in Boston, before packing up his Honda and moving to Los Angeles to start Big Door. His philosophy has been to build a company where innovation and ideation are the driving forces behind delivering great service, affordability and amazing results. Max is constantly looking to challenge himself and his team. From working out of his small beach apartment in the 90's to purchasing and remodeling Big Door's current 9,000 ft² studio in El Segundo, Max has positioned Big Door to be constantly moving forward.
His philosophy is simple: be fearless, be better, be innovative.
Alex Emerson
Executive Producer
Alex has supervised, written and directed hundreds of hours of programming for just about every network with recent projects for Travel, History and HGTV. He's also produced brand spots for clients including Ford, Coca-Cola, USAF and over twenty for YouTube & YouTubeTV. A graduate of Wesleyan University, Alex's proudest work accomplishments include crashing and/or exploding over 50 cars for high speed camera shoots and directing Danny Trejo on how to cut through ballistic dummies.
Jaromy Siporen
Partner / COO
A results-driven Creative Director and accomplished editor; Jaromy's experience spans from pre-production, to on-set production management, to post-production supervision. He also directs the day to day operations of Big Door. Jaromy graduated Cum Laude from Dartmouth College and dives for Spiny Lobsters in his spare time in the frigid waters of Los Angeles.
Wendi Wan
Executive Producer
Wendi Wan is an Emmy-nominated Executive Producer and Writer known for creating engaging and story-driven unscripted television and digital advertising content. She is an expert at bringing original concepts to life and creating entertaining and authentic content. Throughout her career, Wendi has written and produced hundreds of hours of top-rated programming for television networks such as ABC, CBS, Bravo, MTV, TLC, Discovery Channel and former streaming networks HBO Max and Quibi. She has worked with a wide variety of talent, ranging from YouTube creators, Hollywood celebrities, professional athletes, and award-winning musicians to best-selling authors, Fortune 500 CEOs and international political leaders. Wendi hails from Southern California where she currently resides, after working as a a TV News Journalist for CNBC Asia in Hong Kong and for MTV Networks in New York City.

With over 10 years of experience, Brandon has developed a reputation as a one-stop shop for post-production and content creation. His advanced skills in both After Effects and Premiere allow our clients to receive an all-in-one package providing the highest quality to the post-production process. Those who know him describe him as positive, dedicated, and a loyal team player who is not afraid of hard work or the challenges that working in the industry can bring. Always looking for growth in his path, he's always looking forward to the next challenges ahead.
Valarie Aguirre
Production Supervisor
Starting out as a PA in Commercials, Valarie followed the production path into Production Supervision, earning that title on many popular shows such as Shahs of Sunset, Wheeler Dealers, and Temptation Island. A member of the Television Academy, her credits include various programming formats such as talk, competition, reality, game show, and more. Managing teams domestically and internationally, her work has taken her all over the world including almost all fifty states. What she most enjoys about production, however, is the relationships she gets to build with crews and vendors to consistently create new and exciting quality content. She believes if we are creating something fun to watch we should have fun making it.
Chip Hiden
Senior Editor/Producer
Chip is a creative producer and film editor with over 15 years of experience crafting hundreds of videos for clients like: Google, YouTube, Disney, Amazon, MLB Network, Sony, Fox, and many more. With a diverse portfolio of producing, documentary filmmaking, and extensive experience in editing, he is known for his creative eye and has been a vital part of our work for many years.
Lauren Oliver
Clearance Supervisor
Lauren graduated from University of Southern California with a major in journalism and minor in film. Her big break came when she parlayed a day assisting on a corporate video into producer’s assistant on a big budget Disney movie, later moving to NYC to work as his assistant full-time. She has since worked on dozens of productions of all sizes in film, TV and commercials. Her recent work at Big Door includes the #WithMe campaigns. She resides in Los Angeles with her husband, baby, dog, and a lot of leafy greens.

An accomplished story and clearance producer, Tammy has spent a career helping produce impactful content. Having cleared content for numerous documentaries, reality shows, and commercials, Tammy's ability to find and license content is unparalleled. She enjoys discovering and championing the talent she finds.
Nick Nerolien
Staff Editor
Nick Nerolien is a highly experienced film editor with an MFA in film production from Loyola Marymount University. He has been working in the industry for over five years, starting out as an assistant editor at Northern Light Production. Nick has a unique eye for creativity and storytelling, allowing him to bring a unique perspective to any project he works on. He is always eager to learn and collaborate with other creatives to make the best possible product. Nick is an expert in the art of editing, from conceptualizing to the finished product, and is a valuable asset to any production.
Diego McCafferty
Producer
Diego McCafferty was raised and braised on the mean streets of Boston, MA where he went to school for writing, literature and publishing. After dropping out to pursue a career in professional wrestling, he has spent the last decade working as a writer and producer in film, television and podcasting. He currently resides in Los Angeles, with a cat, and in his spare time enjoys keeping his own company.

Valkyrie, our resident Berger Blanc Suisse and squeaky toy aficionado, was born into the world of production. A true rising star, she spends most of her day zooming, pouncing, and demanding pats. When she isn't circling the ping pong table in anticipation of a dropped ball, she can be found at various canine competitions, having already racked up quite a few medals for her speed, agility, and of course, dazzling good looks.
